Premises
This document (hereinafter, Terms and Conditions) defines the terms and conditions prepared by Hotel Rojas Srl Via Porto Levante – 98050 Vulcano Isole Eolie (ME) (hereinafter: The Hotel) for the use of the booking services. These Terms and Conditions, together with the privacy policies adopted by the Hotel, are considered known and accepted in full. It is not possible to proceed with any booking without prior knowledge and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
We invite you to carefully read the booking rules below.
Scope of
These Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations made through the Site www.hotelrojas.com (hereinafter: the Site), or direct requests via Contact Form, email or telephone, and regulate the contracts for the stay and use of the rooms and for any additional services provided by the Hotel.
The contract
The confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of the contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for the person making the booking and for all other subjects mentioned in the same, including minors. Minors under 18 years of age can only be accommodated if accompanied by an adult responsible who stays within the structure.
Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise agreed, the hotel rooms are available on the day of arrival from 2.30 pm to 11.00 pm (check-in) and must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure (check-in). out). The Hotel reserves the right to collect a penalty due to the late release of the room.
Reservations
It is possible to send an availability request via the Site's contact form, telephone or via e-mail to info@hotelrojas.com and wait for an electronic response.
The booking request must indicate the number and type of rooms requested, name, surname, arrival date, departure date, number of adults and children, age of the children (to be able to offer tailor-made quotes for different needs), contact details telephone, e-mail for communications. You are also invited to indicate your estimated time of arrival. Alternatively, you can book directly online by following the instructions available on the Site.
Online booking procedure
The Customer is solely responsible for the choice of services and their suitability for their needs, for which the Hotel cannot be held responsible in this regard. The booking is considered accepted by the Customer at the end of the booking procedure. The Customer can search for availability based on the chosen dates and book a room via the booking platform on the Site. The Customer specifies the dates of the stay and the number of people who wish to stay. You can then select one or more rooms suited to your needs.
The Customer will then be able to confirm their choice by clicking on the "Book now" button, after having read the complete description of the room/s and their characteristics, selected any additional services and the rate offered for the requested date or dates. The Customer is then invited to fill out a form with all their personal data to assign the booking. The Customer certifies the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided.
The Customer is informed, in each of the personal data collection forms, of the mandatory or optional nature of the responses by the presence of an asterisk. In the absence of the information deemed mandatory, the Hotel may not be able to register a reservation and manage any complaints.
The Customer can at this point confirm the booking by clicking on the "Confirm booking" button after having read and accepted the Terms and Conditions. The Customer is required to enter the credit card details requested, depending on the rate selected, as a booking guarantee or to allow the booking amount to be debited. The booking confirmation will be sent via e-mail to the email address electronic indicated by the Customer in the form. If the Customer has not received the confirmation, it is his responsibility to contact the hotel.
Fees and payment methods
The prices displayed on the Site include value added tax (VAT). The Customer who makes a reservation agrees to pay the price established for the accommodation, including any extra costs and applicable taxes, and the services requested even if performed by third parties.
Price errors and typos are not binding and the reservation may be canceled by the Hotel with a refund of any amounts already paid.
The Hotel accepts the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer (exclusively for direct bookings after booking via contact form, email or telephone)
- Credit card (Visa, Euro/Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, CartaSi, PIN). Prepaid cards are not accepted.
Morning breakfast is included in the price.
The extra bed, upon request and subject to availability, entails a 20% reduction on the price per person of the room.
Tourist taxes and any extras must be paid before departure.
Complaints in relation to the accommodation bill must be reported immediately to the Hotel.
Secure website
The booking service on the Site is provided by Vik booking , a booking management system compliant with PCI-DSS and OpenTravel standards . Each stage of the booking process is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology , the most advanced technology in this field. Your information, such as your name, credit card number and expiration date, is encrypted before transmission over the network. This makes the Internet transaction secure and ensures that all sensitive data will be kept confidential.
The security certificate used is issued by an accredited third-party provider, Let's Encrypt.
Children
Children from 4 to 12 years old can stay in an extra bed (if available) at a cost of €30.
Children over 13 years old pay the adult rate and stay in an available bed in the room.
Children under 3 years old stay free when sleeping in their parents' bed, or can stay in a cot (if available) at a cost of €10.
The maximum number of cots allowed in the room varies depending on the room booked.
The cot and extra bed are available upon request and subject to confirmation by the Hotel. The Customer is required to ask for confirmation before making the booking.
Pets
Pets are allowed in the hotel.
The owner must ensure that the animal has its own bed, a bowl with clean water and fresh food in the room. The pet owner must not leave the pet alone in the room.
Services
Hotel guests will be able to take advantage of the following services:
- Solarium
- Snack bar
- Free unattended parking on site.
- Free shuttle service to/from the port.
- Boat rental/tour agreement.
- Convention on the island's geothermal pools.
- Two and four wheel vehicle rental agreement
Groups
For group bookings the Customer must contact the Hotel directly by telephone or email.
Withdrawal by the Hotel
The Hotel has the right to withdraw from the contract if the deposit or balance is not paid within the agreed deadline.
The Hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract for justified reasons, including (and not limited to):
- causes of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the control of the Hotel which make it impossible to fulfill the contract;
- booking made with misleading or false information;
- if the Customer's stay may damage the operation, safety or reputation of the Hotel.
The Hotel has the duty to inform the Customer of the decision. In case of justified withdrawal the Customer will not be able to request compensation for damages.
Withdrawal by the Customer (cancellation, cancellation), no show, early departure.
Some of the offers include non-refundable rates, the Customer is required to check the payment conditions during the booking procedure.
Flexible rate – 14 days
The Customer must submit his withdrawal request by contacting the Hotel in writing within a reasonable timeframe for managing his request.
Requests made up to fourteen (14) days before arrival include free cancellation without payment of penalties.
For cancellations made within fourteen (14) days before arrival, or in the event of a no show (the Customer does not arrive and does not cancel the reservation), the Customer will have to pay the total amount of the reservation.
In case of late arrival the total price established must be paid. In case of early departure, there are no refunds for the remaining unused period.
The Hotel reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card left "as guarantee" before the Customer's arrival by requesting a pre-authorization from the circuit to which it belongs. The card holder and credit card must be present at the hotel upon arrival. With the pre-authorization the Hotel guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it (approximately 30%), to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorization expires automatically 20 days after the requested date and the amount is released. In the event of a negative pre-authorisation, the Customer will be
notified and the booking will be cancelled. In this case, the Hotel will have no obligation towards the Customer.
Non-refundable rate
The total amount of the reservation will be charged to your credit card at any time after booking and there will be no refunds or refunds in case of modification, cancellation or no-show. No refund is due in case of early departure.
Responsibility of the Hotel
There is no compensation for damages, regardless of the legal reason, unless the Hotel acted maliciously. The Hotel assumes responsibility for the violation of contractual obligations resulting from its own negligence or that of its legal representatives or employees. Liability is in all cases limited to foreseeable damage referred to the contract.
The Hotel declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental failures of equipment or other causes of force majeure. Furthermore, we decline any responsibility for damage caused by other guests, atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases or thefts.
The Hotel is not responsible for inconveniences caused by cancellations, or other problems of various types, of services offered by third parties and booked through the Hotel.
Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for damage to buildings and/or inventory caused by himself, his family, his guests or pets, according to the provisions of the law. It is the Customer's responsibility to obtain sufficient insurance for such liability cases. It is not permitted to organize parties/events inside the rooms. The overnight stay of an unreported guest at the Hotel is prohibited. The Customer who makes the booking is responsible for the actions and behavior of all members of the group.
It is the Customer's obligation to obtain the consent of the other guests before providing their personal data.
Personal data
The Customer's personal data collected by the Hotel are processed in accordance with current legislation for the purposes of executing the Contract, managing reservations, payments and invoicing, as well as sending information. The Customer's personal data will be retained for the period necessary to provide the service and monitor the commercial relationship and/or for the period necessary to allow the Hotel to fulfill its legal and/or regulatory obligations.
The Customer's personal data collected may be communicated to third parties to allow the provision of services. Some of these third parties may be based overseas. These third parties may only use this data for the same purposes. The third parties have undertaken to adopt all the necessary security measures to guarantee the confidentiality of the Customer's personal data.
The Hotel reserves the right to use the Customer's personal data for its own marketing purposes, by sending the Customer information about its products and services, in particular by email, unless the Customer expressly objects at the time of sending. provision of personal data or at a later time by contacting the Hotel, whose contact details are shown on the Site.
The Customer has the right to access, modify, rectify, oppose and delete personal data concerning him by contacting the Hotel, whose contact details are shown on the Site.
The booking procedure and navigation on the Site may incorporate cookies. Customers can deactivate these cookies at any time, if they wish, via their browser settings.
The Customer can obtain all information on these topics by consulting the Cookies and the Privacy Policy of the Site.
Applicable law and exclusive jurisdiction.
These Terms and Conditions are entirely subject to Italian law, which regulates their conclusion, execution and termination, and on the basis of which they will be interpreted, also for the purpose of resolving disputes arising from them.
The Customer accepts the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian Judicial Authority for the resolution of any dispute relating, by way of example and not exhaustively, to the validity, application, interpretation, execution of the provisions of the General Conditions, also recognizing the jurisdiction in exclusive and mandatory of the Judicial Authority of the Court of Messina.
Language of the Terms and Conditions
The original text of the Terms and Conditions was drawn up in Italian. The original text in Italian may have been translated into other languages. The translated versions are unofficial and for purely illustrative purposes and, therefore, have no legal value. In the event of disputes or conflicts regarding its application or interpretation, exclusive reference will be made in every location and for all legal purposes to the version written in Italian only.
Final provisions
The possible nullity of one or more clauses or part of them does not imply the nullity of the Terms and Conditions nor of the remaining part of the clause itself.
The reservation is personal and cannot be transferred freely without the prior consent of the Hotel.

These Terms and Conditions were made on February 1, 2024 . The Hotel reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions by informing customers via the Site. Therefore, the Customer is invited to consult the Terms and Conditions before each booking.
